You know what happens in my home??
When I say I’m having a stomach, my mom says its because of my phone.
I say headache, she says phone.
I say feeling lazy, she says phone.

At times I feel like, it’s soo annoying.
But then, we all know, the truth is bitter to hear.
Yes, most of the little problems mainly health issues, are due to this little thing which we always use in our daily lives.

Yes, it’s very important, distant calls, internet, video calling and much more.
But then we know, much of anything can be really harmful.

Nowadays, from kids to grannies, all know about Facebook to Instagram.
But then we don’t know what happens inside.

Well, let me tell you few major illnesses what I have heard from major heavy phone users.

1) Addiction

It’s one of the biggest diseases, even drugs aren’t that powerful as a mobile phone and social media is.

2)Stress

More of stress, uneven thinking and waste of time. No matter how jobless we are, we won’t use it for other uses, we kill time to spend on phone no matter how boring it is.Iteven causes stress to our eyes

3) Accidents

From minor ones like hitting against a pole to hyper major ones like car and bike crashes,
majority of teen accidents are caused due to phones. I have even heard of major selfie accidents true, this has even made a sensation in mobile phone accidents.

4) Sleep Loss

Yes, it changes everything from food to sleep.
You might have noticed that if you are a phone addict. But it kills most of your remaining health, consequences won’t be seen now but it will when you have less control over yourself.
In your old age.

5) Cyberbullying

Yes, there are major cases of cyberbullying. Even though most of us forget this, there are many cases. We should indeed feel thankful that we are not yet affected by this. As always, prevention is better than cure.

Coming to this question.

What are the health risks associated with mobile phones and their base stations?

This is a question which everybody is not taking seriously.

Given the immense number of people who use mobile phones, even a small increase in the incidence of adverse effects on health could have major public health implications.

Because of the exposure to the radiofrequency (RF) fields emitted by mobile phones is generally more than a 1000 times higher than from base stations, and the greater likelihood of any adverse effect being due to handsets, research has almost exclusively been conducted on possible effects of mobile phone exposure.

Research has concentrated on the following areas:

Cancer

Based on the mixed epidemiological evidence on humans regarding an association between exposure to RF radiation from wireless phones and head cancers (glioma and acoustic neuroma), RF fields have been classified by the International Agency for Research on Cancer as possibly carcinogenic to humans (Group 2B). Studies to date provide no indication that environmental exposure to RF fields, such as from base stations, increases the risk of cancer or any other disease.

Other health effects

Scientists have reported other health effects of using mobile phones including changes in brain activity, reaction times, and sleep patterns. These effects are minor and have no apparent health significance. More studies are underway to try to confirm these findings.

Electromagnetic interference

When mobile phones are used very close to some medical devices (including pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, and certain hearing aids) there is the possibility of causing interference with their operation. The risk is much reduced for 3G phones and newer equipment. There is also the potential for interference between mobile phones signals and aircraft electronics. Some countries have licensed mobile phone use on aircraft during flight using systems that control the phone output power.

Traffic accidents

Research has shown an increased risk of traffic accidents, some 3-4 times greater chance of an accident when mobile phones (either handheld or with a “hands-free” kit) are used while driving due to distraction.
