More or less we all are foodie. Foods always please our tummy as well as our mind. And street food, they always attract us towards them. If you are visiting Kolkata you should try these street food to satisfy your hunger of good food.

Fuchka
Don’t get confused by the appearance of it. May be it seems like panipuri,but this isn’t panipuri. It’s fuchka. When you eat your first, it’s feel like heaven. The mixture of potato, beans and all spice with the tamarind water and small fried ball, make your mouth happy.

Bhelpuri
All flavours in one packet. Puffed rice with different types of sauce, vegetables and spices mix, serve in paper packet. The sweet, sour test of rice disolve your hunger in a minute. It’s light weight & easy to carry and very cheap in price.

Jhalmuri
This is also made by puffed rice. But here hasn’t use any type of sauce. In it has vegetables, fried beans, spices, nuts. It’s very cheaper in price but very rich in flavour. When you feel hurgy but you don’t have enough time to eat anything, just go for it.  It’s easy to hold and eat with one hand while you hold on to your belongs with the other.

Egg roll
An egg roll is made from wheat flour. It’s look like a roti, all though it’s a roti just fried with egg in hot oil. An egg roll is a large, cylindrical, savoury roll with shredded cabbage, cucumber  , onion  , chicken and other fillings inside a thickly-wrapped wheat flour skin.

Papri chaat
Papri chaat is prepared using crisp fried dough wafers known as papri, along with boiled chick peas, boiled potatoes, yogurt and tamarind chutney and topped with chaat masala and sev.The papri are prepared from maida and fried in oil.The dish has sweet, sour, tangy and spicy flavors and a creamy and crunchy texture.

Ghoti garam
Ghoti Gorom is basically salted chanachur mixed with onions, green chillies, and the star of the show, amra, which is a very sour and tangy fruit. This is what gives the Ghoti Gorom that special X Factor! But because it is not always abundantly available, vendors replace it with raw green mango and grated carrot. It’s very delicious and pocket friendly. Light weight & easy to carry, because of the quantity.Easy to hold and eat with one hand while you hold on to your bag/phone/chhata with the other
